Frequently Asked Questions

What is a consultation like?

The consultation is a brief 15-minute conversation where we get a sense of what you are looking for and whether this feels like a good fit. It is a time for you to ask questions, share what is bringing you in, and get a feel for how I work. There is no pressure to commit, just an opportunity to connect and explore.

How do I know if this is a good fit for me?

This work tends to resonate with those who are open to self-reflection and interested in understanding themselves more deeply, not just through thoughts, but through emotions, patterns, and the body.

If you are looking for a collaborative process, where you are actively engaged rather than given solutions, this may be a good fit. If you are unsure, the consultation is a helpful place to start.

What happens in a typical session?

Sessions are guided by both structure and presence.

We often begin by slowing down with a mindfulness exercise, taking a moment to settle and check in with where you are. From there, we follow what feels most relevant, whether that is processing something current, exploring patterns, or making sense of your experiences.

At times, we may incorporate moments of pause, body awareness, or gentle movement, depending on what feels supportive. Each session closes with something to take with you, whether that be an intention, reflection, or small practice to stay connected between sessions.

Do I have to do movement or body-based work?

Not at all. Everything in this process is collaborative and based on your comfort.

Movement and body awareness are available as tools, but they are always introduced gently and with your consent. Some clients find them deeply helpful, while others prefer to focus more on conversation. We move at a pace that feels right for you.

Do you offer in-person or outdoor sessions?

At this time, sessions are offered via telehealth beginning May 4.

In-person sessions are something I plan to offer in the future as the practice continues to grow. This option will include an indoor space designed with a nature-inspired environment. If you are interested in in-person work, you are welcome to share that during your consultation so we can plan for future availability.

Outdoor sessions are currently offered in the fall and spring, weather permitting. Outdoor sessions can offer a different kind of grounding and openness, but they are always optional and based on your preference.

Do you take insurance?

This is a private-pay practice, which allows for greater flexibility, personalization, and depth in our work together.

If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide documentation for potential reimbursement, depending on your plan.

A Good Faith Estimate of services and costs is available in accordance with healthcare guidelines, so you can make informed decisions about your care.
